First photobook dedicated to the cult of San La Muerte. Photographer Nazareno Ausa documented for over 15 years the traditions surrounding the saint, its celebrations, and the life of its followers. His vision and deep involvement with the portrayed community offer us a respectful, close, and familiar look at a cult that, even today, continues to be considered marginal in Argentina.

As a material testimony of that devotion, the photobook includes a small plastic payé, a figure usually carved in human bone that devotees embed under their skin for protection.
